Ooh La La! Check out those MASSIVE, 3” long, vibrant magenta-purple blooms! Totally tropicalesque & WINTER BLOOMING, this evergreen shrub blooms its little heart out late-Fall through early-Spring, with an occasional mid-Summer flower show if you’re lucky. Growing to 5’ tall & 3’ wide, it likes a hard prune once the bloom fest is over to keep it from getting gnarly. Great for container culture, we’ve even heard it makes a nice houseplant. Found growing in dry gravelly slopes & rocky washes of Brazil, it prefers well-drained soil.
