Adenophora bulleyana
“Ladybells”

photo:
Carol Souza/Weezingreens
I like these long-lived & easy to grow members of the Campanula family for their perennial reliability & late season blue flowers. Fast growing to 3’ tall & blooming their first year, “Ladybells” forms many upright spikes bearing whorls of charming, lavender blue, scented bell-shaped flowers. And each year you’ll get more & more spikes. Loving rich soil, they’ll grow in sun or part shade & make a nice vertical accent too. A favorite cottage garden perennial. Good cut flower. Won’t creep around!
