Clematis chiisanensis

Pretty nodding, bell-shaped flowers grace this vine for months at a time. The flowers are creamy yellow with a red base, or almost all red, & grow to 2” long. Prune right after first bloom ends to encourage a 2nd bloom. Blooms all summer and into fall. Following the flowers there are cute puff-ball seed heads that are quite ornamental, too. Grows to 10’ tall & blooms on old wood. From South Korea.
