Ageratum houstonium ‘Blue’

This is the old fashioned, tall, blue Ageratum, which looks much better in the garden than the little, squat varieties so common nowadays. Growing 2’ to 2.5’ tall, it’s perfect for mid-border and for cutting. Clear, amethyst-blue, fuzzy flowers on branching stems bloom for a long time. Very EASY to grow, it combines perfectly with Dianthus, black Coleus ‘Palisandra,’ Lavatera ‘Mont Blanc” or ...? Rich soil is best.
