Eriogonum cinereum

Eriogonum cinereum Eriogonum cinereum

Native to California, this Eriogonum adds a beautiful pink-blushed, grey softness to the garden. It has grey, wooly foliage & pink, pom-pom flowers. Blooms for a long time - June through December! Gets to be about 4-5’ tall & wide. Found on the bluffs & dunes along the coast & on slopes & ridges a bit further inland. Great as an erosion control plant & an important source of nectar for butterflies. Tolerates seaside conditions, clay & alkaline soil. No Summer Water once established.
