Every year I always look forward to its abundance of large & exquisite 6-12” blue-purple flower spikes with their long swooping stamens. Very long-lived & sturdy, it’s a handsome guy even when not in bloom with its bushy habit & large lush rich green, heart-shaped leaves. Very easy & fast growing to 6’ x 4’ -cut it back to 10” in Winter for best bushiness next season. Rich, well-drained soil. Butterflies & hummers! Half day sun.
