Codonopsis mollis
Related to Campanulas, this is a wonderful rare plant from Tibet. Growing 2’ to 3’ tall, the climbing or spilling stems bear light blue to white flowers with darker blue veins. Inside the bell, there is intricate patterning of blue & dark purple. Make sure to place this plant nearby, so you can enjoy looking into the bells. The soft, slightly hairy, light green leaves are a plus, too. Plant in part sun with rich, moist soil. |
