Scutellaria altissima
“Skullcap”

An easy & charming member of the mint family, Scutellaria altissima bears showy, bicolor, purple & white, tubular flowers on slender spikes for a long season, June - September. It makes a bushy, multi-branching plant to 2’ tall & across with nice looking, toothed, mid-green foliage. Rich soil is best & a good choice for a mixed perennial/shrub border.
