Echinacea
tennesseensis

A very exciting “Coneflower” that BLOOMS ALL SUMMER &
having a long taproot, is easier & more reliably perennial in our
Winter climate. Other happy differences are that the petals are uplifted
(rather than drooping) & the flowers all face the same way at the
same time. Echinacea tennesseensis’ blooms are richer in color &
produced far more abundantly, making it an excellent specimen plant. Endangered
in the wild & like all “Coneflowers,” it’s highly
attractive to butterflies. Rich to average, well-drained soil.
