Sanguisorba menziesii “Burnet”

Sanguisorba menziesii “Burnet”

Fun & easy! This hard to find native of Alaska makes for a strong, reliable perennial in the garden. Dense, 3” - 4”, rich crimson-maroon “bunny tail” blooms bob on the end of slender, branching, upright stems from May thru July & remain pretty long after, as the seed heads retain the maroon color. A big plus is the very attractive, feathery, blue-gray foliage making a neat clump that looks good when it’s not in bloom. To 2.5' high & 16-18" wide.
