Felicia filifolia

Completely covered in delightful masses of mildly fragrant, lavender-pink blooms in Spring, this South African native forms an upright multi-branched, rounded shrub to 3’ tall. Butterflies & bees rejoice! Floofy white seed heads follow the flower fest. Funky, needle like tufted leaves adorn distinctive twisted stems. Native to the dry rocky hillside of South Africa, it’s a big fan of Mediterranean climates. Easily prunable anytime of the year, but best done after bloom to encourage another batch of blooms. Enjoys a nice helping of compost & rebounds from a little frost damage with no problems.
