Tricyrtis hirta
‘Miyazaki’

Easy to grow, this beautiful & elegant “Toad Lily” likes some shade & medium to moist, well-drained soil. The 1” flaring starflowers are white with fascinating purple spotting & bloom in the leaf axils & at the ends of the upright, arching stems. Thought to be a cross between T. hirta & T. Formosa, this strain was selected for its shorter & more arching habit. Blooming late - from August thru October, it will reach 1.5’ to 2’ tall & wide. Plant in a container or an area where the beautiful flowers can be viewed from close-up! Bait for snails.
