Isoplexis canariensis
Endemic to the Canary Islands (home to many amazing plants), this rare
and endangered relative of the Foxglove forms a small, 3’ to 4,’
bushy, evergreen shrub bearing beautifully showy, open mouthed, tubular
flowers of yellow-orange-gold in Summer. Very attractive, long, narrow
leaves, too. Give good garden soil and water in the Summer. Regularly
remove spent flowers to prolong bloom. Moderately hardy. Protect during freeze.
