From Brazil comes this almost unknown ornamental perennial in the daisy family. It grows to 2’ tall when blooming, spreading to 2’, & has lavender-blue “bachelor button”-like flowers & pineapple scented foliage. Blooms over a long season – Summer through frost. Very heat & drought tolerant – irresistible to butterflies as well! Gardeners even in humid areas should have very good success with this plant. Grows well in many soil types, & reseeds!
