I wish I had a dress the color of these bewitching flowers! Flaring, soft golden yellow, 2” orchid-like blooms blushed with peach contrast beautifully with red stems & deep green glossy foliage. A Fall bloomer (October through December), it spreads from the roots, creating an attractive, ground-hugging mass, 15” tall and 3’ across. Excellent for trailing over the edge of a shady bed, container or hanging basket. Rich soil is best. From China & brought to us by “Mr. Impatiens,” this extremely rare species is a treat for those of us beguiled by Balsams.
