Verbascum undulatum
I yearned for this amazing Verbascum for years with no hope insight
until one day Dave McCrory & Roger Raiche of Planet Horticulture
arrived on my door step bearing the long desired treasure. Bless
them! Grown for its sumptuous, wavy-edged, lasagna - like foliage,
the two foot wide rosette is covered in yellow felt as if dusted
with gold. “Wavy - Leaf Mullein” likes good drainage, so does well
(and looks great) in the front of a bed, or growing out of rocks
or like mine, in a clay pot. Full sun and dry soil makes the best
foliage, tighter, wavier, and golder. Luckily, mine bloomed (not
exciting) and made us seed, and so , now foliage fiends around here
can rejoice. |
