I so love the tall “Candelabra Primroses!”  Very long-lived & fragrant, they need shade, rich soil & regular watering but, gee, are they worth it! Growing 1.5-3’ tall, they will quickly establish a good size clump & bloom in mid to late Spring. Magenta blooms with golden yellow eyes are borne in tiered flower whorls, 5-8 on each stalk. Once it gets going you get lots of stems & flowers. Wonderful by a shaded front porch, (where you won’t forget to water), by a water feature or in a container. May go semi-deciduous in Winter but not to worry, she comes back strongly in a few months.
