Meconopsis cambrica “Welsh Poppy”

This is the one Meconopsis that is super EASY to grow & reliably perennial (as it’s tap rooted) – although it may not survive a super wet & warm winter planted in the ground, it will do very well in a container. Long-blooming from mid-Spring thru Fall, 2-3” silky, lemon yellow flowers are borne in abundance on branched stems. Native to the British Isles, “Welsh Poppy” loves shade or part shade. Lots of elegance & poise. To 18” x 18”. Self sows!
