Angelica pachycarpa

Angelica pachycarpaAngelica pachycarpa

The extremely glossy foliage of this New Zealand native stops everyone in their tracks with “Is it real?”  Tough and super easy, it grows quickly into a 3’x3’ perfectly mounded dense form and unlike other Angelicas, it is a true perennial.  Creamy 4” flower clusters emit a pleasing fragrance in the Summer.  It self-sows quite handily too so you can make nice presents of the seedlings for your friends.
