Exceptionally floriferous and naturally dwarfing – this mounding cultivar reaches a modest 1-2’ tall and 2-3’ wide, making it perfect for the front of a bed or a container (5 gal.+). Blooms late Summer thru Fall with showy 1.5” bright purple blooms that positively smother the foliage. Stunning combined with warm autumnal hues! Easy to grow and can reach full size in the first year, it’s tolerant of a wide range of soils including clay, but tends to be happiest in well-draining soil with plenty of water. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
