This Winter blooming wonder isn’t one of those boinky little “Florist’s Cineraria”, P. webbii grows to a sturdy 3-4’ tall & wide with big, bold mossy green, heart shaped leaves. You can count on it to pump out branching sprays of huge clusters of pale rosey lavender daisies wearing contrasting deep purple centers almost year round. Sweet cut flower! Native to the Gran Canaria (one of the Canary Islands) where it’s found in rich, relatively dry soil, so a little compost will be appreciated.  A total ‘must-have’ for partly shady DRY gardens! Winter wet can be a problem, so try to plant it in well-draining soil, or in a site that has some Winter sun, like under a deciduous tree.
