Just for fun! Pronounced “boo-lay” - this French heirloom gourd is a freaky addition to the veggie garden. The finished product looks quite comically like a large green apple covered in lumpy, bumpy warts. Can you say fabulous centerpiece? Once dried & cured the gourd will turn brown, & you can keep it forever & ever. The hotter your area gets, the better luck you will have getting a good crop! Forms long vines. Rich soil is best.
