When Dr. Gordon Frankie, bee expert of renown, dropped a few of these plants off at the nursery & told us that it was a superb plant for attracting native bees, we set our busy-bee selves to work propagating more. CLAY TOLERANT & perfect for pots & edging, this “Seaside Daisy” was selected by renowned California plantsman Wayne Roderick. Bearing a profusion of 2” lavender, short stemmed flowers centered with showy gold & chartreuse eyes, it’s easy, tough & reliably perennial. Long blooming Spring thru Fall with dead-heading it’s a superb plant for attracting native bees & butterflies! Neat & compact to 1’ tall & 3’ across. Deer resistant, salt spray, wind & drought tolerant but looks best with some Summer water.
