Basil ‘Marseilles’

This French cultivar is the perfect Basil for the kitchen windowsill, as it’s a cultivar whose compact habit is well suited to container culture. It doesn’t have to be big to be prolific, though – the small plants provide lots of bushy growth to harvest from! Said to be the most aromatic Basil of all, it’s has a rich flavor that’s great for pesto, pizza, pasta, with fresh mozzarella, or for grazing fresh off of the plant. Pinch for bushier growth. Rich soil, regular water, & a sunny position for best harvest!
