Gazania krebsiana

Gazania krebsiana

Looking for a low maintenance, drought tolerant ground cover with spectacular flowers? Well, here you go! Very large & extremely showy, the eye-popping orange flowers with intricate black & white markings are fascinating up close & spectacular in mass. The foliage is pretty, too. The leaves are deeply divided, dark green on top & silver below. Makes an excellent ground cover, especially in dry soil. Grows to about 6” tall & 1’ wide. From South Africa where it is an important food source for native tortoises!
