Leucadendron galpinii
“Silver Balls”

This shrub from South Africa makes a beautiful silver accent in the garden. The foliage consists of narrow, silver, glimmery leaves. It gets to be 6’ tall but is much less wide than that, usually about 3’ wide. Depending on whether it is a male or female plant, the flowers will be yellow pom-pom shapes or silver-grey cones, respectively. Best in well-drained soil. Hardyto 20-25° F.
