Schizanthus candidus

Oh, how excited we were when this rare & enchanting Schizanthus popped up in a mystery seed mix collected in Chile. The 1” - 1.5” pure white blooms looking like flying white egrets when viewed from the side, are born in mass on upright, very multi-branching stems Summer thru Fall at least. (Ours continued blooming all thru Winter). Easily, a hundred blooms at a time form a shimmering cloud above the attractive ferny foliage. 24” to 30” tall & across, plant it in a pot for maximum viewing pleasure. Fast & easy, rich soil is best. Rare!! Reseeds!
