Senecio stellata 'Giovanna's Select'

A predominance of blues & blue-purples, this strain was selected over a period of time by Jim Ottobre in Inverness. He’s named the selection after his daughter, Giovanna. These are not the dwarf, “boinky” Cinerarias, but the taller, showier ones that get to 30-36” tall. Jim recommends planting them in front of Rhododendrons, amongst ferns & around roses for a gorgeous display. A perennial along the coast & an annual in our hotter areas, it reseeds easily & makes a good cut flower.
