Scabiosa atropurea 'Black'

Scabiosa atropurpurea 'Black'

The color of this flower is truly luscious - a rich, velvety, dark, dark crimson with white "pins" forming the large "pincushion" blooms. This strain is grown for cut flower use with blooms 1 ½-2" wide, that last up to 2 weeks in a vase. Prolific flower production on long stems all year long, but it does best if cut back in fall. Fun, EASY, & Reseeds!
