| Monopsis lutea "Gold Lobelia"
I wish I wasn't so lazy about propagating (and photographing) this very rare and beautiful "Golden Lobelia" from South Africa. It is so rare, I can't find mention of it anywhere (maybe you can). I have one in a 10 inch pot, where a mass of hanging 3 foot long stems bearing attractive, small, shiny evergreen leaves bursts into bloom around May- July with hundreds of bright canary yellow "lobelia flowers" almost obscuring the foliage. A lesser bloom continues for the rest of the summer. It's super easy and fast growing, and bugs don't bother it. Possibly it's frost sensitive so you might want to protect it in winter.
P.S. It seems like it would make a good house plant. Annie
