This perennial pea is a tried and true cottage garden plant. A vine to 10', it is long-lived, tolerates drought, heat, & cold, self sows, and blooms early summer thru fall. This species & color are rare & much sought after. The large flowers bloom in clusters but are not fragrant (boo hoo). It loves to wander over shrubs & hedges or under roses, spill over a wall or tomato cage (mid-border).

Average water is best.
