"Flat Sea Holly"

An excellent cut flower that is everlasting so it doesn't need water. Medium blue flowers with blue-green spiny bracts are borne in sprays on much branching, strong blue-tinted stems to 3' tall. It forms large clumps above really tough tap roots. You can step on it or dig it up and move it around the yard with no permanent damage. Pest free too! Does best in poor soil. Blooms mid-Summer thru Fall.
