Eccremocarpus scaber 'Tresco Gold'

Eccremocarpus scaber 'Tresco Gold'

Tons of bloom all Summer! In 3–4 months, this elegant, tendril climbing vine will easily cover a 6’ x 8’ trellis & then stops right there without becoming a menace! Yup! You’ll be so happy over its multitudinous bloom sprays of many waxy, tubular, gold & orange flowers held on contrasty wine-red stems. Very attractive, dark green, fern-like foliage. Thrives in AM sun to bright shade, self-sows & hummers adore it! Rich loamy soil for best performance. Cut back in Winter. Combine it with my other favorite part-shade vine, blue-purple Asarina scandens ‘Joan Lorraine’ for color combo fireworks! Hardy to about 15°.
