"Queen Anne's Lace"
Too bad this guy is the parent of the ever popular vegetable - if it
weren't, it would be far more popular in our gardens as the lovely ornamental
that it is. Dense 3" white umbels, with the center floret colored
deep garnet where of course Queen Anne pricked her finger & shed a
drop of blood on it. Nice cut, fresh or dried AND swallowtail butterflies
choose it for their caterpillars & bees like it too. Reseeds! |
