Blooming from Spring till Frost this delightful and rare Salvia species was collected from the Iguassa Falls region of Brazil and Argentina several years ago. Its seeds have since been passed around by hummingbird enthusiast as it’s not only an attractive sage but a great hummingbird favorite! Growing 3’-5’ tall and busy in form, this all-season-bloomer bears vivid scarlet flowers on long upright green stems held above the attractive bright green heart-shaped leaves. Grown as a freely self-sowing annual, so instead of having to contend with pruning back the woodiness of a perennial sage you’ll get fresh new lovelies every year. Woo-hoo!
