“Kashmir Sage”
This attractively put-together species has mauve, pink, or lavender flowers in stout whorls, & stays 2-3’ wide & tall with soft & cuddly woolen stems & leaves. Phlomises are such friendly plants. They’re tough, durable, adaptable, & long blooming. They’re attractive to bees & birds & butterflies, & even when not blooming, their soft wooly leaves are a lovely & enduring feature. It is an evergreen perennial where hardy, & will live a long time provided you garden in a low-water way.
