Alonsoa
meridionalis
'Apricot'
From Chile comes
this “must have” for any garden. A profusion of roundish, salmon-pink,
flowers on freely branching stems to 3 feet tall. Sublime with
“Baby Blue Eyes” & our native “Tufted Poppy” in Spring.
It will bloom year around if cut back to 8” when it looks tired.
By the coast in Sunset zones 16 & 17 it will go into full
bloom and look spectacular all Winter too!. “Mask Flower”
likes rich soil and looks great mid-border and in mixed containers
too. It will live 1-2 years in our milder areas.
