Freesia caryophyllacea This is one of the most fragrant of the Freesias - much more fragrant than the hybrids commonly available and has a more beautiful flower too! The flower reminds me of a sunrise. The top petals of the flowers are the golden color of first light and the bottom petals have the color of the sun’s orange rays as it peaks over the horizon. The stamens line up to make a nice fringe over the throat of the flower. The corms reproduce rapidly to make lots more plants. Yea! Good in clay soils but let them go dry in the summer. | ||||
