Penstemon heterophyllus 'Blue Springs'

This gorgeous selection of our California native bears startling, SKY BLUE flowers with just a touch of purple inside the bells. The 1” to 1.5”, flaring, tubular flowers are densely held on 20” spikes. The glossy, bluish-green foliage is evergreen and the plant will spread to 2’ wide. Penstemon heterophyllus attracts hummingbirds & butterflies. NO SUMMER WATER is needed once established. Excellent in rock gardens, dry gardens & even well-drained (no clay) garden beds. Good in containers, too.
