Nigella hispanica 'African Bride'

We all love Nigella hispanica here at Annie’s Annuals – especially this lovely new white variety! The pure white horizontal petals are gorgeously contrasted by the central rich purple-black jester’s hats. Blooming atop 18” tall, upright multi-branching stems, these fascinating flowers seem to float above the fine and ferny rich green foliage. The seed pods, which follow are beautiful too, and provide good material for fresh or dried arrangements. Nigellas self-sow reliably, returning each spring. Totally simple to grow in low, fertile to average soil.
