Nicotiana alata 'Lime Green'

Nicotiana alata 'Lime Green'

What a wonderful and versatile plant this is! 1" green flowers produced in profusion for 3 months or more on this 2 - 3' tall "flowering tobacco". Growing in full sun (by the Bay) to full shade, it provides a new and refreshing alternative to the usual shade annuals. And its clear lime green color looks great next to everything I've grown it with (my favorite combination has been with Salvia patens). It also looks great with Impatiens, Lobelia, & Forget-me-nots. In addition it's a LONG LASTING CUT FLOWER. Average water and good soil is all it needs. And if you cut it back in the Fall, it resprouts to behave as a perennial. Reseeds too!
