Lysimachia atropurpurea

Lysimachia atropurpurea

Derry Watkins, owner of a small nursery (like ours) in England, tells me that she can’t keep this rare beauty in stock. A very unusual Lysimachia, it makes a superb garden plant with silvery green, wavy, lanceolate foliage, and bears many spikes of beautiful, claret-red, almost black florets. Sounds yummy. Very easy to grow in Sun or Part Shade. 18” tall, and also excellent in containers and a nice cut flower.
