Lewisia cotyledon 'Yellow Form'

This beautiful & rather rare selection of our California native bears a heavenly shade of soft, peachy-yellow, single blooms in Spring & Summer. Lewisias are not hard to grow here - they love rock gardens, stone walls or to be planted in clay pots with some gravel added to the mix (since they require good drainage). The 6” to 10” stems form showy clusters of the 1” flowers. The foliage is prized for its fleshy leaves held in tidy, little rosettes. I top dress the soil with gravel once a year.
