EASY, pretty & rewarding, this rare species Impatiens grows 2’ tall, multi-branching out to 2’ across or so with rich, emerald green foliage well offsetting the multitude of small, bright red, hooded blooms. The flowers appear all Summer & are well displayed above & outside the foliage. Perennial here along the coast or in frost-free climates. Rich, composty soil is best. Makes a carefree groundcover in shade & excellent in a large container. Cut back to promote fresh growth. Self-sows!
