Ferraria crispa "Spider Iris"Ferraria crispa "Spider Iris"

If you’re into freaky flowers, this bulb is for you! The flowers are a rich, chocolate brown with crinkly, yellow petal edges. They look like something from under the sea, like the edges of the petals are covered with barnacles. Plus, the crinkly texture & the flower shape remind me of starfish. The plant is robust, often reaching 1’ or 1.5’ tall. It produces numerous blooms over 2-3 weeks in early Spring. Needs good drainage.
