Clarkia amoena 'Gloria'
What could be more easy and rewarding to grow for your Spring garden than one of our California native Clarkias? Besides providing armloads of very long-lasting cut flowers, they eagerly self-sow, returning with abandon each Spring. Clarkia amoena Gloria bears, all during Spring, a profusion of 2.5 across, clear rose, cup-shaped blooms atop branching stems to 30 tall (perfect for cutting). Best in well-drained, average soil, their self-sown seedlings will require no watering at all the next season! Nice container plant too.
