Aristea ecklonii
A beautiful, long-lived bulbous (rhizomatous actually) from South Africa with flowers of a glorious, bright azure blue produced over a long bloom season (early Spring thru Summer). The 2 ½-2' flower spikes are borne atop tough clump forming, sword-shaped leaves. Lovely along pathways and beside water features. A natural for our Pacific Coast weather!Reseeds! Hardy to 20 degrees.
