Aquilegia caerulea "Krystal"Aquilegia caerulea "Krystal"

In my experience, Aquilegia caerulea and A. chrysantha are the longest blooming species of Columbines with flowers easily lasting till mid-Summer here and this heavenly variety is no exception. And its blooms are very large and fragrant ! Although not a true California native, it was such a stand-out in our native garden display that I just had to include it. To 3' tall, plant it for grace and elegance as well as fragrance in any garden. Rich soil is best.
