Alonsoa meridionalis "Red"Alonsoa meridionalis "Red"

One of the few plants that was in full bloom in my garden last winter. It also blooms all Summer & Fall. A profusion of 1” cinnabar-red flowers are borne on neat, graceful many -branching stems to 30” tall. Long blooming! Nice in front of a bed & an excellent container plant. Cut back when she looks tired to renew bloom. “Mask Flower” loves rich soil and usually lives 1 to 2 years in our warmer zones by the coast. If you live in a hot Summer area this “must have” is well worth growing as an annual.
