How about Papavers like: “Ladybird Poppy,” Peony Poppies, ‘Danebrog’ or ‘Lauren’s Grape’ (right). This is the last chance to plant in order to get spectacular full sized Papavers with plenty of blooms and huge, 5” flower heads.
